PRO Co-op Invests in State-of-the-Art Fertilizer Plant

Since 1928, PRO Co-op has been committed to serving rural communities across the northeast corner of Big Sky Country. Today, the organization remains steadfast in this commitment through strategic investment in assets to support local farms and ranches. The new 16,750 ton fertilizer plant located north of Antelope, Montana, will double PRO Co-op’s fertilizer storage when combined with its current fertilizer plants in Richland and Madoc.
“The entire team at PRO Co-op is excited to have this investment in our patrons’ agronomic success come to fruition," stated Tanner Trower, General Manager of PRO Co-op. “This state-of-the-art facility will provide a reliable source of fertilizer for producers, enabling them to get the right nutrient on the right acre as efficiently as possible."
The new plant is scheduled to receive fertilizer in January and will be fully operational for growers’ needs during spring planting, including delivery and custom application. Available products handled at the Antelope fertilizer plant include urea, MAP, potassium chloride, AMS, and zinc along with the ability to provide custom blends to meet growers’ crop nutrient requirements.
Jeannie Rude and Bailey Christoffersen are the PRO Co-op agronomists located in Antelope and will handle fertilizer bookings for the upcoming growing season out of the new plant.
